Es waren wunderschöne 4 Tage bei Jaqueline und Dirk.Wir können uns den anderen Gästen nur anschliessen.Das schönste waren die gemeinsamen und lustigen Abende auf der Terrasse.Unsere Tochter wird Blacky,den Hund auch nicht vergessen.Wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen.

We can only concur with all the previous comments about Dirk, Jaqui & Ammans B & B. It was our first visit & we would not think twice about staying again on future visits to Belgium. A warm welcome, good food, good clean modern facilities, advise on local restaurants(in particular the Islandia). If you're going sightseeing you couldn't be better located for Ostend, Brugge, Ypres etc. Dirk's advise & knowledge is supurb & well worth listening to. It was really quite a shame to have to go home!

Van harte dank voor alle zorg, tips, accomodatie die we mochten ondervinden tijdens ons verblijf in Oostduinkerke. Het uitzicht over de polders missen we nu al!!! The Ammans B&B proved to be first class in every respect. The warm ,helpful welcome from Dirk and Jacqueline ,the comfortable well appointed room,the use of a computer in the breakfast room to e-mail our family in Canada , the beer fridge and the location convenient to travel routes with Dirk's friendly guidance all resulted in a most relaxing and enjoyable stay in this interesting and charming country.

Dankeschön für die tolle Zeit, die wir bei Euch vebringen durften. Ihr habt uns ein wirkliches Zuhause gegeben, wie in einer richtigen Familie. Ihr seid so herzlich und bemüht um alle Eure Gäste, dass es nur schwer fällt, Euch wieder zu verlassen. Ich hoffe es gibt ein Wiedersehen, zum Glück sind es nur ca. 3 Stunden Autofahrt zu Euch. We hebben het erg naar onze zin gehad tijdens ons verblijf in Oostduinkerke, alles was goed verzorgd en we zijn niets tekort gekomen.
Bedankt nog voor de suggesties op cultureel en culinair gebied, dit is ons niet tegengevallen. Tot ziens, Ralph en Saskia.

C'est un peu par hasard que nous avons découvert Ammans B&B en ce week-end caniculaire de la fin juillet où la côte belge était prise d'assaut. Nous connaissions la formule B&B à l'étranger pour l'avoir appréciée à plusieurs reprises et nous n'avons pas été déçus. Merci à Dirk pour son amabilité et ses délicates attentions. Nous regrettons de n'avoir pu profiter de toutes les suggestions touristiques qu'il nous a fait. Félicitations aussi pour l'aménagement de la maison et du jardin qui sont très agréables. Un endroit que nous ne manquerons pas de recommander à nos amis et que nous gardons dans nos favoris pour un prochain séjour à la Mer du Nord!

Voor het tweede jaar op rij hebben we genoten van een prachtige vakantie aan de mooie Belgische kust. Jullie tip om de kust tussen Boulogne en Calais te verkennen heeft ons een geweldige verrassing opgeleverd: wat een geweldig stukje natuur! Opnieuw bedankt voor de gastvrijheid die wij bij jullie hebben genoten, en wellicht tot een volgende keer.

I must say that my friends and I had the most wonderful and welcoming stay at Ammans B&B, I also wish to thank Dirk for the time he took to take me and my friends to Ypers, Newport and other places of interest in this part of Belgium. This was the second time I have visited Dirk and Jacqueline, which speaks for itself. I really do feel at home there, and they live in a wonderful corner of Flanders. Highly recommended for helpfulness and affability. I shall be back.

We were absolutely amazed by the quality of this B&B which we admittedly booked based on the great price. Had we paid double, we would still have been more than satisfied and recommended a stay to all our friends and family. On top of a clean and comfortable room, we had a concierge, tour guide, and travel agent named Dirk. I can't imagine that our trip to Belgium would have been as memorable if we had stayed anywhere else. Also, the breakfast was big enough to pack up the leftovers and have lunch on the road.

For the most relaxing & home from home holiday you have ever had Ammans is the place to go.You will find a rearly friendly atmosphere in a Belgium home.You will never run out of interesting places to visit & know there will be a friend to wellcome you on your return.

Het waren voor ons zeer aangename vakantie dagen.
Dirk en Jacqueline waren uitstekende gastheer en - vrouw en wij voelden ons al vlug t'huis.

We received a friendly "home from home" welcome from Dirk & Jaqueline and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Lots to see and do ably guided by Dirk who is a mine of information.
The restaurant list was useful, and we can recommend ISLANDIA for lunch or dinner - good choices, good food and keen prices.
Not enough time on this occasion, we have decided a return visit is a "must"!!

When we wanted a good B&B on the Belgium coast for several days we chose Ammans from the Internet because of the location, high speed Internet and the free Belgium beer on arrival.
We ignored the high praise of the Guestbook because, well those entries can always be 'manufactured' by the host. Having recently stayed with Jacqueline and Dirk we must now say "All of the comments in the Guestbook are true and more..." (and the location, Internet and free beer were great!)
We will be back!
